Feb 17, 2023 | Impact

Last Friday we celebrated the launch of the new MRI for La Clinic du Corps International at Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia.

This special opening emphasizes the necessity of accessible diagnostics. The Prime minister, the Hon. @Philipe J Pierre, stressed the importance of the new high-quality MRI services:
” Saint Lucia was waiting for this step in Public Private Partnership. We know that this investment will reduce the need to travel and will be of good benefit to the people of St Lucia”.

Quotes from the @government of Saint Lucia and general practitioner of La Clinica du Corps:

Opportunities for Private Public Partnerships with the introduction of this Diagnostic Imaging service were not lost on Health Minister Moses Jn Baptiste. Access to such quality services, he says, underpins the government’s Universal Health Coverage initiative. “I’m sure everybody in St Lucia will be very pleased to know that we have this service in St Lucia. I wish to congratulate but also to thank the partners and the teams who decided to come together to bring this wonderful service to st. Lucia”.

General practitioner La Clinica du Corps, Dr Donnie Glasgow;

“Something sensational to us in the medical field, speaking from a professional; standpoint this is a very important piece of equipment and it will make a great difference in the practice, in the healthcare system and in the care that we provide for our people and we as a team welcome it and are happy to introduce it to St Lucia.
